Bowie Style has arrived!

I must have the nicest drive to work ever!! from Fryup to Staithes in a mini in the sunshine lovely!  Recieved my copy of Bowie Style at the weekend and the verdict is I love it!! Surface pattern in a book!  I did a surface pattern degree and everyone always asks 'whats surface pattern?' so now I tell them i illustrate! sad huh but true.  Bowie Style puts surface pattern on the map, I am now proud to be a surface pattern designer lol!

This is a page from the book Sukie! I love sukie. www.sukie.co.uk
The book features some lovely designers and there work is really inspirational!  I advice everyone to take a look!  Designers from all over the world!

craft candy fair, sheffield

Had a great weekend at sheffield, caught up with an old friend! and her son (very cute).
The fair went well and I met some other really nice designer makers!  I feel totally inspired.  Sold a few wax blocks, so i hope they get hung and admired by the customer.  I love selling the wax blocks, it makes everything worth while, somehow.  It took an hour and 45mins to get there, and a major sat nav misfunction but i got there.
I have now compacted my stuff when i go to fairs so i can manage on my own, everything goes either in or on top of my black wheelie trolly.  every should have one!  i'll have to get some pictures posted of my stand!
Anyway got home and to my surprise my garden has really blossed, We've been eating fresh peas this morning straight from the pod. exciting!  How can everything grow so quickly I've been a way 24hours!

Well as of this evening I'll be doing an offer on my etsy shop to celebrate getting married!  1/2 button love's if you spend over £20!! bargain.  they are lovely, everyone should have one lol!  sorry the image is upside down (top right)!!
Well i'm gonna go walk the dogs! go out for my father in-law (to be) birthday tea. yum yum
